Bertha Á Einarsdóttir
My name is Bertha Ágústa Einarsdóttir and i was born and raised in Selfoss, Iceland. I am a student in photography and languages at the Academy of Art University of San Fransisco. I love traveling and getting to know new cultures and their languages. I live in Berlin, Germany with my boyfriend, but soon we will be moving further south. My mother was a great artist and taught me to knit as a child, though the interests for knitting didn´t ignite until after my teenage. I have always had interest in knitting and designing my own cloths and patterns, though I more often do traditional Icelandic patterns, I draw from old patterns from other countries like, Russia, Germany and Latvia. I love modernising patterns with all kinds of colours and incorporating them into for example, Icelandic sweaters. One thing that I guess is fun and interesting about me; I am an Icelander, living in Germany, going to school in the US.
